Wildlife Tracks

I suspect these are tracks created by a fox but cannot be certain. I saw several off in the distance at the time this photo was taken. Obviously the animal was smart enough to bypass the weak ice over Flint Creek.Image by Jeff Chemelewski

First Snow with Reflections

Early winter after the first snowfall of the season. The image was taken at one of the ponds at Fel-Pro RRR conservation district of McHenry County. Very early morning is important to avoid ripples in the water which distorts the reflections. Fel-Pro RRR is a McHenry County Conservation District property just north of Cary.
